Fee per Person: £10 when a group is able to organise use of a venue

Description:
A regulated qualification designed to teach members of the public life-saving skills for use in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident.

Based on the citizenAID Pocket Guide and Phone App, this 3 hour qualification will teach Learners how to react safely, pass on effective messages to the emergency services, prioritise the injured and give life-saving first aid in these extreme situations.

Syllabus: 
A variety of topics including:
Prioritising multiple casualties
Dealing with an unresponsive casualty who is breathing
Controlling severe external bleeding
Use of the CitizenAID smartphone app (learners are required to have the app pre-downloaded on their own smart phone)

Certification:
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor and a three year qualification will be issued to those who satisfy the criteria.

Numbers:
A maximum of 12 learners are allowed, they must be a minimum of 14 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.

The certificate will expire as dated on the certificate, irrespective of age
