Description:
The HSE strongly recommends that first-aiders undertake an annual assessment, over half a day, during any three-year certification period. Although not mandatory, this will help qualified first-aiders maintain their basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to first-aid procedures.
You must have a valid Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work Requalification certificate to complete the Annual Assessment.
Syllabus:
This course refreshes you skills on knowledge on the follow:
– Assessment of the situation
– Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
– CPR
– Seizures
– Shock
– Bleeding
Certification:
A certificate of attendance will be offered to all, subject to successful assessment.
Numbers:
A maximum of 12 learners can be accommodated on this course and all candidates must be a minimum of 14 years of age to attend.
