Safeguarding Children, Young People & Adults

It is now a requirement for all those working with Children, Young People and/or their Families and Adults at Risk to have a knowledge of how to Safeguard. Safeguarding means protecting their health, wellbeing and human rights, and enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect. It is also important to recognise what your role is in Safeguarding. It may be vital to the welfare of the Child, Young Person or Adult, so it is essential that you are aware of the different ways in which you may be involved
