The Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk qualification is intended for those who are working with children, young people and adults at risk, including those in voluntary or unpaid positions. This qualification is also suitable for those who have a specific responsibility in safeguarding and protecting in environments such as the NHS, education providers and social services.

– Factors to be considered when abuse is suspected

– Duty of Care & Best Practice
– Support mechanisms available for staff and others following abuse

Certification:

This is achieved by on-going theoretical teaching by the instructor and successful completion of a Workbook.

This qualification does not expire, but refresher training and keeping up to date with changes to policies and procedures is vital to keep the qualification current. We recommend you refresh your training every 3 years.
